What's New With Property Master?
|
March 6, 2009: There's now a Loan Add Wizard which makes it much easier to create
loan records. You can also create loan payment records to the present day
very quickly.
May 18, 2008: We have redesigned the Tools pages, adding one new to the feature and improving
the appearance of all pages. The key new feature is that you can now select
from the most recently used reports. You can also choose Report Category "All"
to see the entire list.
Hint: You wont see the "Recently Used Reports" when you first open the reports page,
but you will after you run your first report since this change took effect.
April 28, 2008: We have redesigned the Accounting pages, adding several new features
and improving the appearance of all pages. The key new features are:
1) When creating a Bill record, you can now choose whether to enter it in the General
Journal as an AP transaction. When you record it as paid, a second General
Journal entry will be made. Previously, Bills did not connect to the General
Journal.
2) You can now record Rent Payments quickly in the Receive Rent page. To see
a list of Rent Payments due, click the Receive Rent button from the home page.
You'll see that each listed payment now has a Pay button. Click it the first
time to see what the record will look like; the second time to record the payment.
The Pay button does not allow you to modify any part of the payment, but you can
still create a custom payment with the Post button.
March 19, 2008: Check out all the features under the Property menu for a preview
of Property Master's new look. The pages are not only more attractive, they
include many small improvements to make your life easier.
November 30, 2007: We have a new feature, but with a twist. The new feature is automatic
Alerts when you have a bill that is due or a lease that is expiring. You can enable this
by opening the Options page (Tools --> Options) and setting the correct options for
Email Me Before Leases Expire, Email Me Before Bills Are Due, and Notices to this Email Address.
The twist is that we could not fully test this on our development systems before launching it,
because of the nature of the email server. So, it's not guaranteed to work - but it will be
by the end of the weekend.
November 9, 2007: We're proud to announce two new accounting features in
Property Master™. The first is Manage Bills - you can record A/P entries
for bills you have received, but not yet paid. All unpaid bills will also show
up on the home page. Access this through the
Manage Bills button on the homepage.
You can also now calculate late rent fees and early payment discounts
with Property Master™. Beyond that, we are working on many fronts to make
Property Master™ property management software work more smoothly for everybody.
If you haven't done so yet, log in to try Property Master™ free for one month
and see what Property Master™ can do for you today!
We need your help to keep developing Property Master so it serves your needs perfectly. Please contact us
with any feedback by e-mail or a call to
888 820-7767.
September 24, 2007: You can now set up Tenant Rent Schedules and update Tenant Rent
Status quickly. For each Tenant, a Rent Schedule can be set by month, by quarter
or any other period. You can also set up fees and fines through the Rent Schedule.
Recording rent payments is also much easier, and you can see each Tenant's Rent
Status; current, prepaid or late, and the exact balance; through a simple report.
We've also added easy-to-use navigation buttons on the main page and informational
Tooltips on many list pages. To see the Tooltips, hover your mouse pointer
over a field (such as Name in the Tenant List page). That Tooltip shows you
the Unit, Property and Owner associated with the Tenant. We'll add more of
these in the weeks ahead.
We need your help to keep developing Property Master so it serves your needs perfectly. Please contact us
with any feedback by e-mail or a call to
888 820-7767.
July 31, 2007: July 31, 2007: Three major updates to announce today.
First, we've added a Check Register feature you can use to very quickly record checks and
deposits to your bank accounts. Get to it by selecting Bank Account Display from the Accounting
menu. Second, we've added eight new reports, including the hotly anticipated Rent Roll and
General Ledger reports - access these by choosing Reports from the Tools menu. Finally, we've
made it much easier to navigate from any Display page by putting tabs to related data right on
each page. We started this process with the Property page some time ago. Try it now on Display
pages like Incident and Unit!
Your feedback is important to us so if you have the time please e-mail us
or call 888 820-7767 and let us know how we are doing.
July 19, 2007: Check out the new look of our Home page.
We are continuously trying to improve our look as well as deliver great functionality.
Your feedback is important to us so if you have the time please e-mail us
or call 888 820-7767 and let us know how we are doing.
July 17, 2007: We have just expanded our QuickStart Utility.
Found under the Tools menu this utility allows you to add Owners, Properties, Units, and
Tenants quickly and easily.
July 3, 2007: You asked, we answered! Now you can delete many Alerts
at once. If you List Alerts, you'll see that the old "delete" link
has been replaced by a check box. Check the ones that you want to
delete, and go to the top of that column. Click the Delete button --
bye-bye, stale alerts. It should be pretty straightforward, but if
you have questions, e-mail us or 888 820-7767 has
your answers.
July 1, 2007: We're going to try to be more diligent about posting
our improvements and new features here. Otherwise, only the people
who actually use them will see the changes!
June 30, 2007: Thanks to all of you who are trying, or have committed
to, PMWeb. We're always working to add features and improve the
interface, so if you have a suggestion, give us a call (888-820-7767)
or drop us a line. We're passionate about making the best property
management software, period.
June 25, 2007: Our Report Guy's been adding so many reports we can't
keep count. It's about forty right now -- and dozens more are on the
way.
May 29,2007: We've updated the Property Modeler Reports. They can now be exported to Excel or PDF.
May 21,2007: Property MasterTM now has a customizable Chart of Accounts. Soon you will be able to transfer transactions between Property MasterTM and QuickbooksTM.
May 14, 2007: Today we are launching Property MasterTM to the public. Come and check it out!
